During our recent family trip to Owen Sound, we opted for a budget-friendly hotel that offered a blend of comfort and convenience. The staff made a strong impression with their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist, making our stay more pleasant. The rooms, while showing signs of age, were spacious and kept clean. We appreciated having a microwave and the option of complimentary coffee near the reception. The free WiFi throughout the property proved handy for staying connected. Although the hotel is a bit away from the waterfront and historic downtown, it's conveniently located near Georgian College and Gallery de Boer. With several supermarkets and a shopping mall within a walkable distance, we found everything we needed without much hassle. Breakfast was adequate, with food being replenished frequently. Parking was ample and free, which is always a plus. This hotel served as a reasonable base for our exploring, hitting the right notes for family's travel needs while echoing a sense of familiarity. We'd consider returning on our next adventure.
